Chris is an award winning global business marketer turned marketing advisor, investor, board member (for profit, not for profit), and academic (NYU Stern).  His 23 year corporate career spanned Procter & Gamble (brand management 90-95), The Coca-Cola Company (marketing, general management, marketing director European Union Group; 95-2007), and Anheuser-Busch InBev (Global CMO;  2007-2012).

End 2012 he founded his NYC based consultancy (, and systematically built a globally diversified portfolio of category disruptors.  One of them, FlashStock, a Toronto based ad-tech company (with Chris as angel and founding board member), was created in 2014 and sold to Shutterstock mid 2017.

Chris holds Business and European/International Economics degrees from the KULeuven (Belgium – ’86) and the Centre Européen Universitaire in Nancy (France – ’88), as well as a TRIUM Global MBA (NYU Stern/LSE./HEC – 2005).

He is a Verlinvest Operating Advisor since mid 2012. focused on helping portfolio companies achieve next levels of marketing excellence.  He also served for Verlinvest on the board of Sir Kensington’s (mid 2015 – exit to Unilever April 2017).
